Los Rios employees can grant guests access to the public Los Rios WiFi network for up to 48 hours at a time.
If a guest needs access for longer than 48 hours, then the campus information security officer (ISO) must approve the request. Use the following link to request guest wifi access. Please note that you will be asked for your employee ID and password and you must be connected to the Los Rios network.
Special Events and Conferences
Per Regulation R-8871: Information Security (PDF), generic use of accounts and the sharing of individual accounts is prohibited, except for guests attending a training, meeting, conference, or other management-approved activity. Shared accounts created for guests shall not be activated for more than 48 hours, unless approved by the campus ISO. Shared accounts created for guests shall not be activated for longer than the duration of the event.
