Home Training Compliance and Safety Safety Programs Heat Illness Prevention Program

Overview

Heat Illness Prevention training is required for all supervisors and non-supervisory employees that work outdoors. This program should be discussed with all employees who work outdoors prior to late spring and early summer, when the weather heats up. Newly appointed supervisors for employees working in the heat should also complete this training prior to assignment.

Below are the resources to conduct an in-person training. Heat illness prevention training is not available online.
