If you have a new budget string that was recently established, then the campus needs to contact Fiscal Services at (916) 568-3066 and ask to set up the budget for Human Resources and Payroll use in addition to setting up the budget and moving money.
If the budget has been set up and Human Resources contacts you informing you that the budget string does not work, then it is usually because Fiscal Services wasn't contacted and the string was not set up for Human Resources and Payroll use.
